andBeyond Ngala Safari Lodge is a refined, colonial-style lodge set on a private 14,700-hectare concession within the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. The name “Ngala” means “lion” in the Shangaan language — an apt choice, given the Timbavati’s famous white lion population and the excellent predator sightings this exclusive traversing area consistently delivers.

Twenty-one air-conditioned cottages are arranged around lush, mature gardens with a large swimming pool as the centrepiece.
